Hunter Davis

       Hunter was part of a wave of women artists in San Francisco that included many of the women artists that my wife Susie engineered, like Linda Tillery, Vicki Randle, Mary Watkins, Meg Christian, Margie Adams, Holly Near, etc. Ernest Boykin, the bass player from The Rhyth-O-Matics and I were asked by Hunter to make a guest appearance on her "Harmony" album, backing her on the Elvis Presley song "Heartbreak Hotel". We recorded it at _______________ Studio on 20th and Irving in San Francisco one afternoon. The engineer was_______________. It was a blast and it came out pretty good for a couple of Ska guys not playing Ska.
